Checkers, or draughts, is played on the dark squares of a chequered board: move diagonally, jump over enemy pieces to capture them and reach the far side to crown a king. Rules vary by country, so you will find Russian and Turkish draughts here, along with giveaway checkers, where the aim is to lose all your pieces.
